First I like to clear something up: no, London is not our final destination and no we're not home yet. Not even close! We started getting email with 'Welcome home'....
We have some more milestones to go, literally because Sustrans, the British version of a cyclist union, placed wonderful milestones or rather road signs along their routes throughout Great Britain and every time I see one, I get this song of the Golden Earing in my head (and also out again through my mouth...).

We've been three days in London and have found it a real bicycle city. Remy cycled here ten years back as well and he feels the difference is huge. Where he was pretty much alone then,  this time we were surrounded by cyclists. On total we have covered a distance of 105 km, not counting the day of arrival We haven't seen everything that we wanted, but we're itching to get going and tomorrow we'll continue our journey. Because there's still time left, we'll travel over Cambridge to Harwich. Our boat leaves on Saturday evening so we have time cover some miles.
