Hej alle sammen!
Copenhagen was called out as the bicycle friendliest city in the world. Tomorrow we'll find out why Amsterdam was pushed off the throne!
In the mean time we arrived in Valby, that is a place just outside Copenhagen. It feels like we're cycling for week, but we're just at day five.
But let's start at day 1. We arrived as planned in Rødbyhavn on Lolland at 22:15. To avoid searching for a place to sleep, we put a couple of camping spots in the GPS. But GPS isn't everything... especially when it's getting dark and Denmark has no light-pollution like in the Netherlands. At a certain moment is got pitch dark and we couldn't find the indicated spots. Finally after more that 40km of cycling, we put-up our tent where we thought it was a camping. By this time it was 1 o' clock in the morning...
So, that was our beginning. But after that everything went well. Remy didn't think much of a 5:45 wake-up call, but soon after that, we got on our bicycle.
We had fine weather until this afternoon (it started raining the rest of the day), We had a beautiful route and had the wind in our back most of the time. We arrived yesterday around noon at the place of Jørn and Hanne and left them this morning. Now we stay at Lasse in Copenhagen
